Delivery Model

Scoped to Suit the Client.

Tungatech takes the full chain of design, supply, integration and maintenance, or any part of it. The scope is agreed before pricing and set out in the quotation, so the client engages Tungatech on the terms that suit the project.

Delivery Stages

Four Stages, Taken Together or Separately.

Most clients take all four, because a single accountable party removes the gaps between them. Where a client needs only one or two, Tungatech scopes to that and defines the interface with the other parties in writing.

STAGE 01

Design

Site survey, measurement strategy, instrument and equipment selection, control philosophy and sequence of operation, wiring and schematic design, and a priced bill of quantities.

STAGE 02

Supply

Procurement against the approved schedule, direct from the manufacturer where the relationship allows. Equipment is ordered against a confirmed project, so specification follows the application rather than stock on hand.

STAGE 03

Integration

Installation, termination, addressing, controller programming, point-to-point commissioning, functional testing against the sequence of operation, and operator training.

STAGE 04

Maintenance

Preventative maintenance schedule, calibration verification, fault response, and periodic performance review against the commissioned baseline.

Handover

Handover includes as-built documentation, the point schedule with engineering units, the commissioning test record and the maintenance schedule. Systems are handed over without temporary overrides, disabled interlocks or undocumented logic in place.

Safety

Safety

Tungatech does not work on live or energised equipment without a written procedure covering isolation, permits, personal protective equipment and lock-out tag-out.

Safety interlocks and protective devices remain in service throughout installation and commissioning. Where a requirement would place either at risk, Tungatech proposes an alternative method that achieves the same operational outcome safely.

Every Tungatech proposal states the safety implications of the proposed work, including any isolation required, the plant affected, and the outage window needed.

Isolation and Permits

Written procedure before any work involving live conductors, interlocks or protective devices.

Personal Protective Equipment

Specified against the task and the fault level of the installation.

Lock-Out Tag-Out

Applied and verified before work starts, released only by the person who applied it.

Outage Window Stated Up Front

The plant affected and the duration required are stated in the proposal, so the client can plan around it.

Quality

Quality

  • No system is signed off that has not been physically verified by the responsible engineer
  • No performance figure is published that cannot be traced to source measurement data, with the date range and method stated
  • Savings claims are verified against a documented baseline using IPMVP methodology
  • Equipment carries manufacturer warranty, and installation workmanship is warranted by Tungatech

Commercial

Commercial Terms

Tungatech prices each project from supplier costs current at the date of quotation, so the client sees the true landed cost for the equipment actually specified.

Each quotation states the equipment schedule with make and model, the installed cost in United States Dollars, the delivery lead time, and the validity period of the pricing. Where the scope produces a measurable operational saving, the quotation states the expected saving, the basis of the estimate, and the resulting payback period.

Capital purchase and service-based commercial structures are both available. Under a service structure the client pays a periodic fee covering equipment, installation and ongoing maintenance in place of a single capital sum.

Equipment Schedule

Make, model and specification against each measurement point.

Installed Cost in USD

With delivery lead time and the validity period of the pricing stated.

Scope Boundaries

The installation and commissioning work included, and anything excluded.

Safety Implications

Isolation required, plant affected and the outage window needed.

Maintenance Interval

Recommended interval with the cost of an annual service agreement.

Named Engineer

One accountable person for the delivery.

Ten Working Days From Instruction to Priced Proposal.

Tungatech attends site, surveys the existing installation, and issues a priced proposal with an equipment schedule and programme.
