Before Enquiring

What Tungatech Needs to Quote.

A quotation is built from the application. Supplying the following removes almost all of the back and forth, and most of the risk of the wrong instrument arriving on site.

The Medium

Composition, temperature, pressure, and whether it is corrosive, abrasive, fouling or crystallising.

The Range

Normal operating range and the maximum the instrument must survive.

The Installation

Pipe size and material, or vessel dimensions and obstructions. Available straight lengths. Mounting position.

The Accuracy Needed

What the reading is used for. A trend indication and a billing measurement carry different costs.

The Output

Where the signal goes: local display, PLC, SCADA, telemetry or chart record. 4-20 mA, RS485 Modbus, HART or pulse.

The Environment

Indoor or outdoor, ambient temperature range, washdown, and whether the area is classified as hazardous.

The Power Available

Supply voltage at the instrument position, and whether it is reliable.

Scope Required

Supply only, supply and install, or supply, install, commission and maintain.
